About The Tau Chapter
Hello K-Staters! Welcome to the Phi Mu Alpha page of the Tau Chapter at Kansas State University. Here you will find lots of information about who we are and what our organization stands for. As well as points of contact if you happen to have any questions or an interest in joining! Below are some events we put on and our goals as a chapter.
Mills Music Mission
Goals
American Music Recital
In recent years, the Tau Chapter has gone to Meadowlark Retirement Community to sing and perform for the residents. This is a great way for us to bring live performance music to those who might not have much access to it. We carry out services like this in an effort to advance music in America.
We seek to not only advance American made music, but to also advance ourselves as men. Through brotherhood and service, we provide a sense of community for students with a musical interest. We aren't just for Music Majors, we want to welcome those of any major and foster the love of music for everyone.
This recital showcases American-Made music performed by the brothers of Phi Mu Alpha. Pieces are both composed by American composers and by brothers themselves. Hosted in the spring, we invite anyone to come and listen!
